"Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes" brings together veteran creators such as Yoshitaka Murayama, Junko Kawano, Osamu Muta, and Junichi Murakami, who have been involved in the production of traditional Japanese-style role-playing games such as "Suikoden." The game features elements typical of Japanese RPGs, including adventure, high-resolution 2.5D graphics, vivid game characters drawn in pixel art, stories and ensemble drama set in times of war, up to 100 hero characters, and a fortress-building system.
The game's design intent is to present classic JRPGs to players in a modern style.
